Neil: Hello, welcome to Real English from BBC1 Learning2 English, Im Neil.

Neil: In Real English we look at words and phrases3 people use all the time, but you probably wont find in your dictionary.

Neil: Oh Helen, didnt I tell you? Its all gone pear-shaped.

Neil: Yeah, you know I told you I found a really good deal with a cheap flight and hotel?
Helen: Yes, 不久前Neil 找到了一个又实惠又好的旅游套餐。
Neil: Well, after I booked it I found out the flights at four in the morning, the airports a hundred kilometres out of Paris and the hotel is still being built!
Helen: Oh no! 当他订了将来才发现飞机航班居然是凌晨4点起飞，而机场离市区也非常远，而且酒店还在修呢。
Neil: So, as I said, its all gone pear-shaped.
